Well Covid-19 continues to challenge us in all sorts of ways, hopefully you and your bubbles are all keeping well. The good news is we have revised our W3 Auckland Central Electorate Candidates Evening but because of the new Level Two rules and restricted gatherings, we need to do this virtually.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never done a Zoom call on your phone, tablet or computer or have had problems in the past, please don’t be put off. The revised date is Tuesday 22nd September, which means we have plenty of time to help ANYONE that needs assistance with being able to join what will be a great evening, to learn more about the candidates standing for Auckland Central.
Date: Tuesday 22 September
Time: 7.30 with an anticipated finish between 8:30-8:45pm
Location: We will send you a Zoom link with a password a couple of days before the 22nd September, that you need to click on to connect for the event
Candidates:
More info on each of the candidates is available by clicking on their name.
Greens – Chlöe Swarbrick
Labour – Helen White
National – Emma Mellow
New Zealand First – Jenny Marcroft
The evening will be moderated by the incredibly capable, inspiring Sue Watson, a true “Wonderful Waiheke Woman”. Sue will ensure all candidates are given equal timing across the evening. See Sue’s bio below.
Tickets – The original event was designed as a fundraiser for Te Huruhi Primary School with all proceeds going directly to the school. A HUGE amount of work went into securing sponsors for the original evening for the nibbles and the wine which clearly won’t happen, but also some spot prizes, which will still happen!
Got a ticket already?
If you have already purchased a ticket to the original W3 event and are happy for any of the funds paid to go towards the Te Huruhi Primary School, you don’t need to do anything.
Don’t have a ticket but want to purchase a ticket to the virtual event?
We are keen to support Te Huruhi Primary School as much as we can so if you don’t have a ticket and are interested in this virtual event, the cost will now be $10.
Please buy your ticket(s) on EVENTBRITE here.
