Te Huruhi Through the Years – We would love your photographs

posted in: News

On the 13th December we will move out of our school. Whilst this is an exciting time because everything will be shiny and new, it is also tinged with sadness as it will be the end of an era.

Our existing buildings have served our community very well for a number of years and they are steeped in history and character. We have started packing and found a number of archives with the odd photo scattered through the papers and this has got us thinking.  As part of our farewell, we would love to set up a photographic display of Te Huruhi School throughout the ages.

To date we have only found a small selection of images but I am sure there are masses out in the community. We would be very grateful if we could copy any photos, news articles or memorabilia that people might have to include in the display.

If we get enough photos or articles we plan on setting up a display/presentation in the hall for the community to view.
